Nimbus 2600, 1989, one of the last built. Extensively upgraded to include 240 Volt supplies in Cockpit and both cabins and heated calorifier for hot water, via shore power and onboard 1600W inverter.
New canopy and winter hood, new upholstery in both cabins with 4" foam for extra comfort, uprated battery banks, new DSC VHF radio, Navtex, echo sounder, and regularly serviced engine and running gear. Engine newly serviced for the coming season.
This boat has been in current ownership since 2007 and used mainly on the Thames, with annual excursions to the Thames estuary, Medway, East and South coasts as far as The Wash, Norfolk Broads, Witham, Fossdyke River Trent and Great Ouze. It is the ultimate river boat, very easy to handle with great accommodation and the perfect size to allow cruising that larger boats can't achieve. It is also well renowned for its seakeeping which allows the more adventurous to travel further afield. We are reluctantly selling now to upgrade to a larger Nimbus Commander.
